The GCS (Grinder Control System) was developed in tandem with DC One and DC Two to provide an intelligent solution to the challenge of maintaining consistency and repeatability at each extraction. Using extraction time as a threshold, the grinder receives information from your Dalla Corte espresso machine about the extractions of a particular group-head.

And with DC Two, each hopper can be assigned to specific groups and monitor extractions independently.

If your extractions deviate from your programmed settings (at least twice out of 5 extractions, or 3 times out of 10), the grinder will automatically adjust the distance between the burrs and grinding time.

This system allows you to dial in your grind just once in the morning, as the grinder will then self-adjust throughout the rest of the barista's working day, saving time, coffee and money!
