A better Planet for a better Coffee

Respecting our PlaNet is a goal we persue everyday.

Commitment to sustainability and social responsibility is part of our core values, as we have been involved in many important projects over the years, such as the Second Chance venture in collaboration with the Bollate penitentiary since 2016 and a 5-year project on the island of Sumatra. We also introduced lead-free materials, tested the machines’ energy efficiency and made all data public on dallacorte.com.

In 2020 we began measuring our carbon footprint as part of our work to bring you more sustainable products. In 2022 the XT and Zero multigroup machines have become “Carbon Neutral”, i.e., they have been fully offset by buying carbon credits for climate protection projects.

Now we are gathering all these projects under one name: PlaNet.

What are we doing for our PlaNet?

We know you're not the kind of person who likes to waste energy. And we're not either.
That's why the multi-boiler technology is the core of all our espresso machines: this means you can turn off the groups or the boiler when they are not in use, thus you're saving energy while keeping the temperature constant for each extraction.

We're proud to announce that all our espresso machines will be Carbon Neutral.
That's right: we've been working tirelessly to offset the emissions of our products, starting with XT and Zero. In 2020 we began measuring our carbon footprint by focusing on impact of our components' production, assembling processes and shipping to customers all over the world.

We're the first-ever espresso machine producer to use lead-free materials on all our products.
Lead-free means our machines don't release any kind of heavy metals such as nickel, chromium or lead into the water. So, we made sure that every single DC machine carries certifications by ANSI, UNI EN, ETL Sanitation, and ETL Listed marks.

A completely sustainable packaging for our multigroup machines and coffee grinders.
From the iconic DC wooden case to the interior packaging: the cardboard structure with pre-formed interiors protect the machine and keep it suspended at 360°, a solution that allows for damage-free storage and safe transport.
