Icon wins the Good Design Award

After the iF Design win for the Zero espresso machine in 2021, Dalla Corte wins another award for the futuristic Icon, the multigroup machine launched on the market in 2022.

In fact, the new Icon was recently recognized with the GOOD DESIGN® Award 2022, an industrial design award assigned by the Chicago Athenaeum: private Museum of Architecture and Design promoted by the European Center for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

The award is presented to the most innovative and cutting-edge products of the year, and the awarded products are permanently displayed in the Chicago Athenaeum. The jury, made of distinguished design professionals and leading industry specialists, base their criteria on innovative design, new technologies, form, materials, construction, concept, function, utility, and energy efficiency, and sensitivity to the environment.

With light lines and geometric cuts that confer lightness to the machine, Emo Design has maintained the Dalla Corte family feeling, renewing it with a modern multifaceted design. The side panels are bent along straight lines, creating a smooth monochromatic shell in stainless steel. Every component is designed for a superior modern look and an immediate intuition of all functions.

The Museum will exhibit the GOOD DESIGN Show 2022 at Contemporary Space Athens, Greece from 31 March 2023 to 7 May 2023, all awards are posted on the Museum's website at gooddesign.org and www.chi-athenaeum.org.
