Happy Deepavali!

Did you know, in August 2021, 673,352 people living in Australia reported India as their country of birth? 

That means hundreds of thousands of Australians are celebrating Deepavali, the Hindu festival of light, this week. We believe there’s no better way to welcome a new neighbour than to learn their culture and respect their traditions. 

We want to wish all observant Australians a joyous Deepavali as they celebrate the “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance” - Vasudha Narayanan.
