DFR - Digital Flow Regulation

DFR stands for Digital Flow Regulation – an exclusive patented technology by Dalla Corte. The DFR is a precision valve within the espresso machine Mina, that can be electronically programmed with an App to open and close dynamically during extraction.

Through the DFR, you can set the amount of water coming in the supply system and flowing to the group head. The valve’s opening can be controlled in up to five different steps. Thanks to the DFR, you can control the most important part of coffee extraction: pre-infusion, the phase where the coffee’s main characteristics are enhanced. The Digital Flow Regulation allows an unprecedented profiling of your cup, marking aromas and consistency with unique and unmistakable features.
