Congratulations Anthony Douglas!

Congratulations are in order for Anthony Douglas from Axil Coffee Roasters, Australian Barista Champion and now winner of the 2022 World Barista Championship!!!

We cannot begin to express how delighted we are that an Australian has won this year’s WBC. To make matters even more impressive, he won on his own home turf, a first for a World Barista Champion.

American, Morgan Eckroth (aka @morgandrinkscoffee on Instagram) came in second place after an impressive display. The sole American on our team owes us all so. much. money. 

Claire Wallace from the United Kingdom came in third place, an impressive achievement worth celebrating.
